Why do black women blame everyone except there man. Lisa your man was committed to you and he broke that vow. Duane probably played a part but your man made the final choice to cheat.
She did blame her husband. That’s why she divorced him. She considered Duane to be a friend, and his actions hurt her deeply. He was in the wrong as well and deserves to be called out.
She makes it sound like Duane was a bad influence when in actuality her husband and Duane sound more like to peas in a pod who both did exactly what they wanted to do. She is being naive to think that her husband would not have cheated regardless of whether Duane was in the picture or not.
What I got from it is that Duane was a close friend of hers, and he aided in her husbands extramarital affairs. Lisa knows her ex-husband was a grown ass man with a mind of his own. IT’s just that Duane, as her friend had no business doing what the f*** he did.
Sounds like her husband has done a good job of shifting some of the blame to Duane when as an adult he is 100 percent responsible unless he was r**** or forced in some way. I doubt he had any assiststicking his you know what where it didnt belong. Besides, she has no idea what her husband was doing before or outside of Duane, a cheater is a cheater bottom line. If Duane was unfaithful to his wife, what would make her think that he would be faithful to their friendship? They were probably aiding and abetting each other with their cheating ways. But her husband is the one who took a vow not to cheat on her is the only one to blame for willfully breaking his vows.

Her husband is/was a grown man who is/was responsible for his own actions. For her to blame someone else for her husband’s choices shows her own inability to fully allocate fault, blame and responsibility where it belongs.
